Slightly surprised there is no thread for this - a WW2 shooter - the sort of thing alot of people have been crying out for.
So I traded a few in at the weekend an bought this.
Honestly, 6/10 at best. so far.
the campaign is lite touch, the enemy AI is as you woul dexpect, pretty terrible. Your allies are about as much use as chocolate fire guards, i.e. yes, you have kill a ze germans yourself!
the premise is ok but its let down by the game play and the graphics engine. the colours are pretty and the scenery is fairly good but the refreash and the rendering is crap.
the lag on screen scrolling on single player is well below standard - I'm on a console here so PC users might have their own view.
it makes for jittery game play and especially after sprinting you have to wait for the graphics to catch up before you can carry on...
as for the multiplayer - I'm wonderign why they bothered - its frankly terrible. hit registering, weapon accuracy, and rendering speed all poor. WHEN you can get into a game I've been kicked out of soo many pre game lobbies.
I wa slooking forward to this - i am dissapointed, it could become a cult classic but COD, BF and MoH can rest easy this is no threat to them.
and PS - IGN and metacritic had this a "quote" sub premium RRP pre launch. GAME rrp was £37.99.
