LM Classic - any local events

At LM24 I usually plod up to the Great British Car Meet at St Saturnin, I wondered if there is anything going on in the area while we are at Classic LM

Car meets or BBQ meets. Or car meets with BBQ meats ideally

There is also a gathering at Chateau Rive Sarthe in Malicorne-sur-Sarthe.

BBQ, Spitfire ale, lager, wine etc plus tours of the Chateau and grounds.

I am sure I read somewhere that the British Welcome also takes place at the classic or is this not the case?

The chateau at Malicorne is a brilliant place so worth a visit. The drive there, if you bother to look at one of those obsolete things called maps and take the back roads and not the Nationale, can be just as entertaining too. The Classic British Welcome does NOT run at the Classic, just the main race. AFAIK there are no other events planned in the area at all.

That's great to hear thanks, I happened to come across the above advert for it but wasn't sure whether it's worth a visit or not.
