I plan to check/clean the rear callipers this week and while I am in there I think I'll upgrade the pads. At the front end I have 500 spec calipers and rotors with yellow stuff pads so I might as well get a bit extra at the back by shoving in some decent pads.
I've found the codes below, do these all look right and has anyone got the code for the Ferodo pads?
And has anyone bought some pads recently for a good price - if so, what, where from, how much etc.
EBC Red (DP3617C) - not sure about these
EBC Yellow (DP4617R) - about £50 and match the fronts
Mintex (MDB1287) - less than £20 so are they not so good these days?
Ferodo DS2500 pads - around £100. Really? For pads about as big as my thumb nail.
Ta.

Ian seriously fella I would not waste my money on fast road pads at the rear you are just compromising already poor handbrake performance for no benefit IMO sure fit OE Lucas/Motorcraft pads the best all round bite for these calipers ; )http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Motorcraft-Rear-Brake-Pads-Ford-Sierra-XR4x4-Granada-Scorpio-/331217658159?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4d1e1c612f with Granada's and Sierra's I speak from experience the best compromise period
dont even think of ringing your Ford dealer with these same pads they will pull your pants down
