I'm on 2% above base with Nationwide and have decided to go for a long term deal - people seem confident that base is going up in the next 12 - 18 months. The best I can find is 2.79% for 4 years, £900 fee and nationwide SVR after 4 years. I seem to recall there are people in the know on this part of the forum so I'd appreciate a chat...if you could let me know your contact details.

Thanks in advance...

The 2% variable deal from Nationwide is so good they scrapped it some time ago. I believe it allowed unlimited overpayments so you are best off putting as much in as you can each month and depending on how low your total debt is, continuing to do so.
