Hi there im just refurbing wheels on USA spec 1972 911T..... they are highly polished but im not to sure wether to keep them that way or to get them anodized .
Just wondered is it just any easy process of taking the tyres off and taking them along and having them dipped or what ever they do, or do they need to go through another process before hand
If you know the process could you let me know ....Thanx Mark

Are they billet aluminium, or cast? If they are cast, they wont look very nice if you anodise them, they will just be grey and dull!

Black and clear anodised! Americans have no taste and ruin wheels by polishing them.

stock finish is anodised.

quite an involved process to restore fuchs properly but they do look great afterwards

A few people in the UK can do it .

Need to be repaired, polished then anodised. Then for a totally original finsh they are dip painted leaving the petals & rim natural. Not sure what costs are these days but I'm sure I've heard about £250 per wheel
