just conducting a little straw poll here for those that went to Le Mans... I am interested to hear back about which companies / brands you noticed via there marketing at the event. Are there any that stood out to you as having done a really good job? I don't mean those who may have just thrown loads of money at it though track side ad hoardings etc. but those who stood out as having done something a bit different that made you think it was good. You can vote based on some of the active brands above, also any feedback greatly appreciated, thanks.

Porsche with the car and advertising which there was lots but I liked it
Michelin lots of adversing and lots of stands but non that took my interest to go in and see how they made a tyre
Nissan lots of advertising and things to look at from Nissan I liked

I am sure they sold a lot but did they actually do anything to promote at the event?

The Porsche marketing spend must have been huge, the point that struck me was the "permanent" investment in the circuit by the brands - The massive hospitality units that are there all year round, the Audi "Cock" in the village, the proposed Porsche development at Maison Blanche... Hell, even the Dunlop bridge.
Serious dollar being spent by the OEMS...

Porsche marketing on the stands etc was prominent, however their 'fan' level offering was really really poor. We were only there for the Wednesday, shop closed all day, no give aways and one very unhappy dad trying to buy their 7 year old a simple t-shirt.

On the other hand, Audi and Toyota had nice giveaways and shops open where you could at least buy a little something.

Porsche may well be back 'home' but it appears they forgot that they have fans and people who may have wanted to celebrate it by buying something LOL

Which hospitality? Apart from the Dunlop stand everything else is temporary. They won't be there for the Classic.
