yes its super lovely but at how much? Gonna be 150+ with that mileage and then you cant drive itThats my old car, honest. *
I bought it from new, the value of it dropped like a stone until it was worth little more than a standard C2.
I hardly ever drove it, in fact the only road miles I did was to and from the track, and slowly (You couldn't really drive it on the road as it was so damned hard).
I did 14K KMs abusing the hell out of her on track days, that babe was never below 6500 RPM, until I part exed her for a new top of the range Vectra back 2002.
I had heard that the next owner drove her rarely, carefully and slowly and only on the road. (He did once try to drive it fast but his back wouldn't take it).
He offered to sell it back to me 10 years ago for £25000, I laughed and informed him that the price was going only one way, and that was down.

I have to admit she looks lovely

Is it normal for the clock surround to look mangled?

The metallic clock bezel is completely undamaged, what your seeing is the rubber seal that goes around the speedo and ensures it stays in the dash. That seal is wonderfully original, they have a white powder on the surface, not sure if it's the rubber sweating, or something they use to release the rubber part from it's vulcanising process during manufacture, or indeed something else, but it's actually nothing more than a nice bit of patina that's been disturbed.
