Very nice!

But I do wonder why companies send out packages like that. I once ordered a small front wing for a car and it arrived wrapped in cardboard and bubblewrap. It wouldn't be difficult to put it in a box full of those little white packaging things to prevent any damage. It doesn't cost any more to send.

By the way, my wing arrived bent, your pipe looks ok. smile

Funny you say that because when my girlfriend sent me the pic over this morning that is the first thing that came into my mind too, I am praying that it hasn't got dented at all, fingers crossed!

They'd have to jump on it from a mezzanine floor to do much damage.

..I think.

When I bought mine last year I had it sent to my parents house so someone would be there to accept it. That afternoon I had a confused sounding mother on the phone, "Nicky, have you ordered and elephants head?" hehe

Depending on the carrier it might well cost more to send. Large, bulky but light items are often charged based on their size (ie volumetric weight) because they take up a lot of space in a vehicle that could otherwise have been used for denser objects.

I'd recognize a bit of Clive's artwork anywhere and knowing the quaility of his materials it would take more than DHL to dint it
