Memory Problems Help Forum?
Discussion
My 80 year old Mother has developed memory problems, not helped by a GP who took her off the memory medication that was prescribed to her by a qualified expert. That qualified expert, visits my Mother every 3 months, I believe.
The next visit isn’t for a while. I just want to learn more about this condition, by using a dedicated forum, if anyone knows of one? I’m particularly interested in a protein, named RbAp48, which is a ‘breakthrough’ for people suffering this problem, from what I’ve learned.

RbAp48 is the name of a naturally occurring protein. In the brain it's function is to do with Acetylation, and has been associated with age-related memory loss.
I'll be honest though there's very little published data I could find. If this is a pharmaceutical target I'd expect to have seen more.
It may be worth looking at clinical trials to see if there's any suitable that your mother would qualify for;

That would give you a quick idea of what is in the pipeline.
