Black leather with red piping in a Morgan, by no means a basket case, seats just looking slightly sorry for themselves with light cracking and wear/rub marks.

Any suggestions as to preferred products to apply and or other tips?

The Gliptone products, finished with G-Techniq L1. However, if they're really bad they could benefit from being cleaned with a strong universal cleaner and scouring pad to get the coating off. Clean off any chemical residue with alcohol, before using a base coat dye. To correctly finish, air brush the final dye coating for a streak-free finish, then spray a final sealant. It really depends just how bad the seats are.
