Non exec director for Aston Martin
Discussion
I've been thinking about Aston Martin as a company and perhaps they would do well to appoint one of us as a non exec director to put across the punters point of view
So my vote for the "fantasy" non exec would be Robgt.......lots of experience in the motor trade and a prolific buyer of the marque .......and his wife would look well hot at the annual directors dinner as well as making her own contribution to improvement
Who would your vote go to and why .........just a bit of fun

Oh Michael - you have made me chuckle. I nominate you simply because you don't mince your words (nor hold 'em back!).PS Have been reminded of you recently as I could never see a picture of Rik Mayall without thinking how much he looked like you x

Is that the same Robgt that's thinking of upgrading to a Ferrari ?..
No - the one who posted this 3 days ago (keep up man!):"One year ago today Molly and I were picking up our shiny new V8S! Our much loved previous S having departed in unfortunate circumstances. I will admit initially we had problems all of which I had not experienced before with our 2 previous Astons. Over a period of some months with much gnashing of teeth and a few tears all have been resolved . My thanks to Bamford Rose and to Works Service.
Would I recommend an Aston Martin to anyone? Damned right I would! In 12 months we have racked up nearly 12,000 miles, travelled through France , Switzerland, Austria , Germany , Spain, Italy and of course, Wales. We have had some truly fantastic times and made some good friends. All the while my fabulous car never ceases to make me smile and glow with pride. It has a voracious appetite for consumables - tyres and brake pads being top of the list. Fuel always hovers around 23-24 mpg so I don't consider that to be too bad. I wash it with great care and polish it about twice a month so it always gleams. We have so very much planned over the next couple of months the highlight being our Alpine Tour with Mike and Kay plus another track day in September and, of course, our Welsh Weekender in just 2 weeks time.
To anyone considering buying an Aston Martin beware your life will change completely, to be honest I am not sure what Molly and I did before. What I do know is that I am having the time of my life! Thanks Aston Martin!"

He'd never do it, because if he got his way, the cars would be right straight from the factory and he'd put BR out of business
