Wedge Bits

I visited a local TVR Breaker up north this morning for a part for my Chim and was well looked after. They had a wedge in there that was in a state of being stripped down. A lot of it was still there so if anyone is after bits just a heads up. If anyone needs anything and they are going to the Candlelighters this weekend I could pick it up for them from the breakers and bring it with me to save on the postage.

Rob, don't suppose they have the stays for the rear roof section? Mine rattle all the bloody time when the roof's down and annoy the crap out of me.

A washer at each end should sort that mate...It will also make them stiffer to close...Ziga

It's the rivetted joints that rattle, especially the middle joint. I dont think a washer will make a difference. Would be nice to get a second set and get them chromed!

I've got a set here doing nothing that I'll swap for the black plastic vent cover that goes on the rear bottom corner of the passenger leather door panel.

I had heard the ones from the Chim etc would fit......they are nice and shiny alloy :-)

There are two pairs for sale, one at £220 and one set at £328. Silly money!

I bought a set from a TVR breakers IIRC for around £60 each they were scratched a little but polished up ok !

I just have a piece of bungee rope fastened between my roof bar stays
and that takes away all the rettle but doesn't get in the way at all

Hi mate...Im sure someone was after some dash vents....And the heater slide control knobs...Might be worth grabbing all the switches...Im still trying to think of something...Cheers...Ziga
