Whats the difference between a UR, RR and MB quattro?

From what I can remember from my Audi mad mate, UR is the first gen, 2.1 10v, MB is the 2.2 10v, and RR is the 20v.
Probably totally wrong though.

UR i believe means original, it is often used to distinguish the original car (in all its forms) from the 68,532 models audi marketing have plastered quattro all over wink

Audi Quattro Coupe (based on the Audi B2 coupe)- the one that most people refer to as the UR quattro is the "ashes to ashes" car.

The WR, MB and RR refer to the ENGINE codes used in the different variants, firstly 10valve engines then later 20valve

It gets confusing because Audi refer to the original S4,S6 models as UR-S4 UR-S6 so I'm inclined to say that the UR designation is some kind of internal reference system for the mk1 variants of the range.
