Sorry Luca, my Nikon Speedlight SB800 + SC29 synch cord arrived today, fresh from HK and no customs charges, hurrah!

now i just need to figure out how it works...

Looking at warehouseexpress, they list different models for the Canon and Nikon.

I'm sure it'll happily work as a slave though, although that's a bit of a waste of a flash unit like this with so many features.

And its absolutely fantastic

Very, very clever. Especially the quick control wheel on the back. Set it using a custom function so that you just turn it in either direction to adjust flash exposure compensation. Really handy. The catchlight panel is also a very clever, and very cheap tool.
