Just decided to go tomorrow. Anyone know the best options for camping? I live on the mainland so don't require an inclusive package otherwise I'd try to stay in one of the enclosure for Brits.

I'm thinking I might just turn up and worst comes to the worst sleep in the back of my car......

We stayed at the campsite above Adenau last year, it was very busy though so if you turn up at the last minute it may be full, fortunately a mate saved us a space. Last year was amazingly wet (the race was stopped due to the rain for several hours) and the campsite was a quagmire by morning with tractors pulling people out, hopefully you will have better weather this year.

Looked like stacks of camping when I was there earlier this week.

Are you able to camp anywhere around the track you choose? Or are there strictly controlled campsites only?

You'll find people camping in the woods ad hock.

If driving round the circuit perimeter, especially at night, please take it easy and keep your eyes peeled, you often find completely wasted wurzel gummidge look a likes come out of the woods, often holding a branch on fire used as a lantern. laugh
