Uprated starter...London electric or something supply them?

Hi Folks, I have tried searching but to no avail.

My chim is much much better at starting up now, and only the occasional click. However, the starter motor is still a little lazy. So, it won't harm fitting a 2kw job I think.

I have read on these pages that someone can supply them for £104 ish, and the company is London Electric or something.

Can anyone help please?

Have you replaced your earth strap? 20 minute job, costs about £5 with decent cable and lugs and has made a remarkable difference to the starter speed on my '96 Chim 400. Seriously different!!

That's pretty good Button, I've had a look and it's fine. I reckon it's definitely new starter time
