Longcross or Buntingford for a driving experience?

I've been given a voucher for a supercar day, which covers a number of venues including Longcross and Buntingford.
Buntingford is about twice as far away, but it strikes me that they might allow you to drive a bit more enthusiastically with the additional run off. I'm not planning to go mad, but I've been to Longcross with work and I can imagine the instructors have to keep a fairly tight rein on people there.
Does anyone have any experience (no pun intended) of doing one of these days?
