A quick heads up, Amazon have http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-TX-39A400B-39-in... at a great price - was going to buy a bigger smart TV but at this price I couldn't not buy one - can always use it as a spare if it's not up to much but the reviews look good.

There are some absolutely stonking deals out there at the moment.

I tend to only watch the price of TV's that are stocked in John Lewis though, If it is on offer anywhere else I then have JL price match it. After my £900 LG failed after 3 years I find the free 5 year guarantee essential.

Too late for me, already purchased! Not too bothered if a £280 TV fails in 3yrs to be honest, probably be old hat by then anyway
Be a bit more concerned if it was £500+
