I'm staying on Beausejour for the Classic in a couple of weeks and have a couple of questions for people that were there at the weekend (or have stayed before).

Is is correct that it's about a 30min walk to the Village?
And can you walk to Arnage town from there - it looks to be about 20 minutes away on foot?
And finally is there a good area to try and head to get a nice pitch?

Anything else I need to know about the site?

Depends how deep into BSJ your tent ends up. It's a vast site and can take 10 mins to simply walk out then yes, it's about 30 mins up to the village. Arnage would take about 20 mins yes.

Cheers Guy. I need to speak to you about ordering some more lights BTW... smile

I'm wondering whether it's worth trying to move to a different site

We stayed at the crossroads just after the first toilet block, it was about 10 minutes to the entrance to BSJ, 25-30 minutes up to the village, and Arnarge is probably about the same a bit less if you walk down the cycle path.

When you get there, check which way the wind is blowing - It was really dry and therefore VERY dusty. We were ok as the wind was blowing across our site and then across the road, so our cars/tents etc.. weren't too bad - Cars parked opposite us (with the wind blowing the dust over them from the road) were absolutely covered in a thick layer of it.

I have stayed on Beausejour a few times.

I would travel further into the site and camp there. There is a decent viewing spot on the inside of the porsche curves, and its always a bit more civilised there.

As you enter the site there will be toilet block on the left hand side of the road. Dont camp near that, it always seems to leak and flood.

If its wet then the campsite is like a bog and if its dry its very dusty, so I would steer clear of the camping near the road otherwise all your stuff will get covered.

Hello,
I've also an other question about camping, I will be on camping Bleu Nord for LMC 2014. In 2012 I was at Karting Nord but in Bleu Nord we are on the other side of the track, is there a way to go to the Bugatti Track where there is clubs or we must take the Dunlop Bridge ?
Thanks for response.

Camp near the viewing area if possible if you like it quieter, mostly motorhomes there, we pitch our tents there every year as we don't fancy rave music all hours of the day at the proper 24.

You don't have to take the Dunlop bridge. You can take the underpass at the start of the pit straight to get to the paddocks and from there you can get to the rest of the Bugatti circuit where the clubs are
