My Ecozilla has arrived
Discussion
After a few months of searching for an Ecozilla , this came up on Ebay - it was the right price , seller was a decent fella and UK based so no fear about charges etc .
It came on the standard rubber strap which I felt was quite uncomfortable on my wrist so I ordered some strap adapters and new strap from America . (changing straps on an Ecozilla is a bit of a pain and you need to buy the adapters first but now any 24mm straight end strap will fit)
I absolutely love it and am looking forward to experimenting with some straps for it :

Hi there,
Did you try looking on Amazon to source the watch (new)?
It's been in stock there for months as mentioned on the older thread.

Anyway....enjoy!

I know you have adapters but did you see these ones...

The brushed titanium is pretty much a perfect colour match to the steel case but most important they don't look aftermarket. They fit so well. He also sells some lovely straps that suit the watch perfectly (although yours is lovely).

I did look at Amazon but this came along at just over half the price of a new one from them which left some money over for the strap Did you try looking on Amazon to source the watch (new)?

I don't think the photos do these adapters justice . The colour match is spot on and do not look "aftermarket" in the flesh . Again, I did look at Suppaparts but I read a few reviews on these and got the adapters and strap for the same price as the Suppaparts adapters on their own . I am impressed with the quality of the adapters and strap and they have made this one comfy watch to wear . http://www.suppaparts.com/photos.php

I did have a set of the cheaper adapters (think mine were called "Walt's" ?) and while they were ok and did the job I hated the big gaping hole they left in the case and the fact that compared to the rest of the watch they just felt cheap.
And that hole in the case does make the adapters look aftermarket. Sorry, but it does. The watch looks like it's been porly designed with that gapping slot in the side, like it's missing something
.
Suppa's are expensive yes, but the quality is fantastic. They fit so snug and are so well machined. And seeing as they fill the whole in the case left by removing the rubber strap completely seamlessly (and 100% colour match the steel case) they look completely OEM.
Pay's your money etc but for me the Zilla "deserves" to be put on titanium suppa's
Seems a shame that you have hunted to find the watch for ages only to completely 'cheap out' on the adapters. Go on, treat yourself to the proper Suppa adapters, I promise you will not regret it!
(obviously
with the cheap comment)

I think the slot you are referring to is actually a reflection in the picture - there is no gap left , the adapters fill the hole left by the rubber strap with a very good colour match too :
