Planning ahead guys, after seeing some real nice wedges at the fest I am determined that mine will complete its re spray on the back half of the car later in the year, however as I do not know when the outriggers were last checked (solid as they seem on the ramp) I think I will plan this in to do first, so that when my nice new paintwork is on I know I do not need to touch them for a long while.
My question is how easy are the sills to remove and any pitfalls to watch out for removing them?
Cheers

That simple then hey! good job i decided to plan this inspection before any paint job then
Drilling out some pop-rivets and then cutting sealant wasn't too difficult. My outriggers were pretty good, only surface rust.
I sanded the surface rust and painted with great gobs of high-zinc paint.
You may need to go up one size in pop-rivets to replace.
Replacement is a reverse of the process except I substituted rivets and hex-blots (m3) so they were removable next time.
