Created a 6 minute video from Friday, it starts with a pit walk showing a close up of a couple of Audi LMP's as they're wheeled to what I think was scrutineering and then some pretty good burnouts filmed near Beausejour

In the Mini nearly everyone has a phone and is recording what is going on. What's the world coming to.

Honestly, I have no problem seeing the cars do the odd burn out or engine rev, but what I do object to is the drunk tts that think its fine to put their mitts all over the car thinking they are stopping you from moving forward, they have no idea of stress points of metal or fibreglass and could not give a damm if your car was damaged! rage

You will see novices doing wheel spins, to the cheers of the crowd, then when it goes wrong the very same crowd will call out Pratt! Dammed if you do dammed if you don't! Kids on the mopeds, yea harmless fun until the bike lets go and possibly powers its way across the road into another car!

Then we have the next bunch of morons with the Supersoakers, wile driver is putting on display some pratt will spray the car or windscreen so the driver cant see sod all or worse spray water into the interior of the car which will distract driver in a middle of a burnout and may loose control of car.
This crap is an Accident waiting to happen .....and sadly many have over the years frown

It was great fun seeing the Dread team in past years with the Pirate ship and Dread mobile, the two seater sofa and one or two others but sadly its not for me anymore, its gone too far frown

Interestingly, there is no actual race footage on the OPs video, too busy watching morons doing burn outs to notice that actually Le Mans is a motor race, not a Max Power meet........?
as the title of the video suggests 'Mad friday' and those that actually are there at Le Mans during the week will know 'mad friday' doesn't include any racing.
I have race footage but that is yet to be uploaded and is mainly black op.

Hope that helps read

This thread is duplicating the "Name and Shame" thread which has degenerated into handbags at 10 paces. I'll only comment that it is 45 years since my first Le Mans and I have witnessed the deterioration of behaviour levels more and more. Drink and high jinks were always a part of the fun, but then we had a bit of respect for others and their property, including cars. That we had not a lot was a part of that of course. We just shared a common passion for racing. Is it any wonder that this year, for the first time, both my classics stayed in the garage? Having just spent a fair amount on rebuilding my E-type, I wasn't inclined to having it or myself soaked urine and the bodywork potentially damaged. In fact, we steered well clear of any potential trouble spots.

Actually I was there at the race pal, had a great week there with the Mrs n our 2 lads

Weather was amazing. Atmosphere was fabulous, especially at the circuit on Saturday night. Truly memorable.

Stayed away from the circuit, in a lovely lakeside campsite 25 miles from the track so therefore avoiding the chav-Fest of what they call " Mad Friday"

Behaviour of some Brits I've seen via YouTube is nothing short of an embarrassment to us law abiding race fans.

It seems you didn't even watch the race legally then either

Your parents must be so, so proud!!!
