Loud background music on car videos

Why oh why do we have to be subjected to exciting (?) music when car video's shown on tv. It's madening how producers dub loud music when car/motorcycle motion shots are being screened. Any motoring vids need the engine/ driving sounds as integral part of package. Motor sport enthusiasts love the sound of engines ,it's part of our sport...Would anyone consider playing reving engines at a music concert? ...definately not , so why play music during speed vids?. Am I the only person who feels this...Ii've now stopped buying car vids as "all" heading the musical way . Now even switching tv off soon as music starts....., it's just so stupid for words. Help ......let's stop the rot.
