Ugly but cool!

What cars do you think are cool despite not being good-looking?

I think that I've possibly owned a couple:



Contentious possibly. I thought it was quite handsome but my mum thought it was ugly (what does she know though, she drives a Citroen Nemo)!

Imprezas aren't cool per se but I think given the choice of a Focus/Astra/Golf Estate or one of these, this is a much cooler option (but definitely not a looker)!

I had an Estoril Blue Z3M and thought it was very cool, but also a bit ugly.

The Corrado ugly? Maybe on those wheels but standard i think they've always looked spot on and still do till this day!

Dacia DUSTER in 6'' letters on tailgate ... pretty ugly but cool. The new Skoda since Skoda became too popular so uncool...

Mk2 Mondeo ST. Not only because I own one.

Nissan Pulsar (sunny) GtiR is pretty dumpy looking. Especially in standard trim, tiny and uninteresting wheels. It also has a massive great bonnet vent/bulge which looks pretty nasty.

I've driven one, and hell! They certainly dshift alright. Handling is very decent too.

This month's EVO magazine has a feature on the SZ. They also refer to the design as being received as 'ugly.'

However - I thought they looked amazing when I first saw one. Later, a mate's Dad bought one, and I always thought it was an amazing, business-like looking car. A million miles away from looking 'ugly' in my opinion?
