I remember lady Di funeral in 1997. i had an MG midget then. on the summer roads, roof down, a tank and a half at (for the car) very high speed on flowing A-roads. Now, ive just finished doing the ironing...

Just back from dinner, Piipe & Glass near Beverley if you're ever around that part of the world, single star and very reasonabley priced, and I though the roads would be great, but not as quiet as I'd hoped.

Great food mind.

Saw your car on the Hull ferry last week, but didn't get chance say hello. You were parked along side us on the way out.

If you do go take it very easy into and out of the car park, rather steep, may be worth parking on the street if you're low to the ground.

I have to say I find the Pipe (and Slippers)an excellent hostelry.
As already stated the food is excellent.


Plus for me I get a terrific drive there on usually deserted roads through the Wolds. The roads are not as challenging as my native Moors but the surfaces are significantly better............

I live in Beverley too, I didn't realise there were so many Porsche owners around here. I do normally pass a couple on my morning commute in the turbo.
