Humax HDR problems

Hi all, can I trap into your collective wisdom?
Bought a Humax HDR 1000s freesat box back in January of this year. It all worked fine but then started "freezing" on occasions. The only remedy was to switch off at the mains and back on. Then all was fine for a while again.
Then shortly afterwards it started displaying the tv guide in a tiny box on the top left of the screen. Again a switch off and on seemed to cure it.
Took it back to the retailer - Currys - who were as unhelpful as ever...but eventually Humax sent me a replacement.
Been using for about a week so far, no problems and then last night - lo and behold, the tv guide had moved to a tiny box in the top left of the screen.
Anyone any ideas - is it another box fault? A compatibility issue? I'm loathe to go back to Currys but if the thing is not working as it should be...
