what happens at 2k revs

Had a bitt of an issue last night, pulled up to some lights and noticed a wisp of smoke and rubbery burning smell, oil pressure down to 9-10 lbs, pulled through the lights car ran fine and no more smoke.

However as soon as I hit 2k revs it started to splutter and misfire limped it home and put it in the garage.

So anyone any ideas where to start looking this weekend.

All ignition leads etc replaced recently with proper parts.

Smells like an ignition lead could have melted on the hot exhaust now arching and causing misfire. Nothing to do with the oil pressure, but ca. 10 psi at hot idle isn't too far out.
