34K refers to price.
I'm in a similar camp to you, looking for pretty much the same but could live with slightly higher mileage if well maintained as I really want more of a daily driver rather than worrying about protecting value. Does anyone have a view on how the 996T's stack up as a daily and what to watch out for repair and maintenance wise if around say 50-60k mileage. How reliable are they say for 5-6k per annum mileage given their age? Thanks
(Sorry hope i haven't hijacked your post but its quite closely linked)
Great cars and perfect for an exotic daily driver, very fast and very easy to see triple figure speeds without really trying.
Comfortable as well, also in my mind the absolute supercar bargain at the moment, really amazes me that a 993 turbo can be £120k when you can buy the more capable and better driving 996 for £25-35k.

I couldn't agree more.... And all because the headlights are a funny shape : ) its a huge amount of car for the money, mid 20's k seems to get something decent and add another 10k and your in the tier one territory. Congrats.
I'm surprised this one has not found a good home.

Probably because it's heavily modded - 600 bhp, £70k spent! - and although it's low mileage it's still £38k for a 2001 car.I'm surprised this one has not found a good home.

A few pictures of the new purchase, suitably impressed with the power and handling even on A and B roads its a revelation after driving my TVR Tuscan which is ok in a straight but not on the twisties. I am currently recording 28mpg which is impressive, must be driving it to sensibly
cheers
paul

Nice looking car Paul!cheers
paul

28mpg? - don't think I've ever seen that on mine, even on an extended motorway run. Have you tried foot to the floor in second, or third yet?

(It might be an excellent car with high quality mods but I can see why it is a tricky sell)
