Anybody else get flickering shimmering on the XB1?

I've noticed it since I got it on BF4 and Forza, used on 2 different TV's as well.

On BF4 when I move all edges close and far blur and looks like they are moving.

And on Forza it's most noticeable on the screen where you can see the full car and it pans around it, It has jagged white lines constantly moving along all the edge's.

This isn't normal right? So far I've told myself its the games but I may as well get Microsoft to give me a new Xbox!!

Could be a dodgy HDMI cable - try changing that?

Good luck! The replacement I got was more faulty so took ages to sort out.

What was up with yours? Did they just send you a new one in replacement?

I have just had to package mine up and send it for repair. if you go to the website it could run you through some troubleshooting type things. If not getting the system registered is relatively painless. The warranty should still be valid at this stage so soon after release and things, mine was just over a year from purchase ( November 2013-February 2015). I choose to go with the same unit repair for no charge (I do believe you can register a card up and they will send you out a new one and you send yours in, then if the fault is not covered by the warranty then the card gets charged for the new unit)Microsoft emailed a shipping label out and then I just had to pack the console up and organise a pick up via ups.

Shipped it out on the 18th and according to the tracking it is due to reach its destination on the 24th at some point. Should also mention that mine was sent of for a disc drive failure rather than the HDMI problem you mentioned but thought you / anyone else who reads it might like some insight into the repair process. I will post back with an update when it gets back to me with any other comments I have at the time.

I talked to them on support and they told me to either arrange a warranty repair with themselves or if the shop's policy allows it just take it back and swap it for a new one, but its a day one edition and I take it they don't have them anymore.

No they don't do the day ones anymore but I am pretty sure the only difference between that and the standard edition was that the controller it came with had day one written on it and an achievement unlock so don't think it really matters that much.

Tried a different HDMI port? And are you going through an amplifier or anything? If so connect direct to the TV.

I had the faulty disc reading issue, the replacement they sent me didnt power up! Did it via online support for trouble shooting etc.
