Removing a windscreen

OK folks, whats the best way to remove a bonded-in windscreen without breaking it? The black sealant around the edge was easy to take out - just like kitchen/bathroom sealant. But there is a different stronger/harder sealant thats actually behind the screen at the edges that bonds it to the frame. Sikaflex?

Any suggestions you to get things out intact? Special tool(s) or chemicals? I'm guessing I could put a right-angle in a knife and try to hack it out, but any better ideas?

Watching them do the screen on my A6 the other week it looks like they just shove tools down the inside and force the seal to break via a sharp edge on soem kind of reverse knife thingy - so a special tool.

TVR screens are a real B1tch as the trim (usually leather) goes right up to the screen edge meaning there is zero margin for error. I just had the screen replaced on my T350 too - took the professional fitter all day to do it without damaging the trim.

Just a thought, but what about fishing a piece of cheese wire through (or push bike brake cable inner)and around the glass, and then pull on both ends to follow the header rail and A post.
Have an idea that this is what the pukka guys use - -but use at your own discretion!
