A thing that always amazes me; The sheer number of Porsches that are for sale with dealers at any one time. Where do these cars come from?

Having experienced how diffcult it is to get even a few hundred quid off a private sellers pride and joy, dealers can't be bying from the likes of us, and maintaining profit margins.

And surely there cant be huge numbers of cars floating around in the mystical "Trade".

So where does this unabating supply of quality Porsches at discount prices come from, and why can't I have one?

You cant have one as you are not in the trade!!

A dealer who doesnt deal in Porsches may have one coming and ring and offer the car to someone who does deal in Porsches.

Private sellers usually ask too much for their cars.eventually they get bored or really need to sell quickly and a dealer steps in with cheque book at the ready.....or they p/ex in and see above.

Ok so that covers the odd car or two. But what about people like Paragon, Autobahn etc etc who have rows and rows of cars coming and going?

Tell me your secrets!

Secrets are just that!!!

You advertise extensivly, build up contacts and when you first start bid a bit more than all the others, then your stock will keep coming as you do deals............if you want 50 Porsches with some hard work and a big bank balance and a bit of patience it can be done
