Hello

One of our fans is making a lot of noise, can anyone suggest where I might get a replacement at a reasonable price?

Maplin don't do them, RS might do but they look expensive. There are some on ebay for £10 each !

TIA

We got outs from an Official Supplier.

I bought 500 to replace all the cobalts we had, but found that some werent in need.

I think we paid £7 a pop for them due to bulk

I would say £10 off eBay is a fine price.

Iwouldnt worry about noise, as much as them just stopping...

Datacentres are noisey places

So do you have any 'spare' so to speak

Datacentres may be noisey, I have no issue with the noise but I've taken this one out and the bearings really are shagged. The other worry is that peoplr keep thinking the drives are duff !

Do you have a note of where you got them?

Thanks

If youre around docklands, I can sort you one out..

if not, just ebay em.

We contacted sun and asked them who their Sunon Supploer is (Sunon are the make of fan) and they pointed us to this place, but their list price was summin like £15 plus p&p, it only got cheaper in bulk.
