Kimonos

Looking for a place that sells silk kimono style dressing gowns.

I know my fairer half would love one as an Xmas present but I can't seem to find any. Found plenty of "actual" kimonos but they're hardly practical house-wear.

Anyone?

Probably better to look for a 'yakata' rather than a kimono.
They are unlined and either cotton or silk and much cheaper!
Madame has both but the kimono is really just a 'display' item.
'Where' was Kintetsu store in Japan not that that helps.....

55" is nowhee near long enough. Anyone know where to get stuff for freakishly tall women?

If you can get over to York, there's a shop that imports all sorts over from Japan, including proper Japanese kimonos of all sizes. Worth the blat from Derbyshire, if only for the roads!

I'm 5'9" and I can never find a dressing gown long enough either....
