British GP How long does the shuttle bus take to Silverstone

I'm off to the British GP in 2 weeks time and am using the Silverstone provided shuttle bus from Northampton to Silverstone.
Has anyone had any experience of using this service, how long does it take, is it still stuck in traffic with all the cars along the A43?
What sort of queue/wait for bus is there at Sixfields(Northampton)
Is the return better or worse
