So, first one to answer (correctly) gets to post up a picture of a watch that is a little bit different.

smile The only clue I'll give you is that this is a legit watch.

I'll be back on later this afternoon to check to see if anyone got it. If 2 other people agree that the difference identified is correct then you can post another picture in my absence smile

It rotates anti-clockwise?

Edit to add, I'm pretty sure this isn't the answer now.
That face is mesmerising, so much to take in!

I sort of hope I'm wrong, because I've got bugger all by way of photos to post up to keep the thread going, but I'm assuming it's a submariner's watch?

I've got a dirt cheap (ie, less than £20) Russian one kicking around somewhere. The key is that if you're in a submarine for several weeks without seeing the outside world, it's easy to lose track of whether 7 o'clock is 07:00 or 19:00, hence the analogue watch with a 24 hour dial instead of 12.

I'm combining both those answers... Looks like a 24hr dial that's runs anti-clockwise, on my tiny 2in Blackberry screen smile

nope its something visual that distinguishes it. Let me say its a commissioned watch, you can visually see the difference from the regular world time VC.

Is it that the time zones marked on the outside are specific to the commissioner - Doha isn't on the standard watch.

I'm fortunate enough to own both a Patek world time and a JLC geographic and I'm a big fan of Vacheron but I'm not keen on that watch |http://thumbsnap.com/

Unfortunately I don't have a picture to contribute! (probably should have thought of that before answering...) So, I throw the thread open to someone else who does smile
