Bike speed v car speed

I've been working for a company that needs music for TV progs in the above category.
So have watched every 'cop/driving/police/bad'n' prog there is on the TV
Just wonder why, when bikes ride at 130mph they get a slap on the wrist and some points, and car drivers get a 3 year ban - and even a prison sentence. That seems REALLY unfair.
Any ideas why bikes are not seen in the same way in the law? Why can bikes do that speed and not cars?

That isn't anything like true. That's why it seems so unfair, because it simply doesn't happen.
A bit like if I asked why white people who are convicted of murder get a medal while black people get 75 years bread and water. Why is the law so racist? It's not, I've just made that up, in exactly the same way you have.
I wonder, does your employer/wife/friends know you're an habitual fantasist who simply invents a world full of injustice in order to complain of it on the internet?

Well I have not seen any real world examples - but I did see on TV shows bikers getting a telling off after being chased down by the police on their own undercover bikes for speeding by quite a margin. No tickets, just grief about how easy it would be easy for them to die.
Is this where the op is taking his example? I do remember seeing a police documentry where this happened.

Have watched lots of bikes doing over 100mph being let off with a 'telling off'. Don't get me wrong, I think that was the best way to go, but car drivers never seem to get that break. Is this where the op is taking his example? I do remember seeing a police documentry where this happened.

Good point, but not at the speed they ride round here. SO SLOW.I should point out that bikers come here from all over the world to drive this road... lovely folk all of them.... but why are they so slow? In 15 years of living on this road, I have never been overtaken by a biker, but have been held up by all?
