Looking for 116610LV
Discussion
Think I got the code right it's the SD ceramic green
My local AD predictably isn't giving out discounts. I want ideally a new ish watch, mint with all papers, boxes etc
Who should I trust buying used?
Im not 100% set on my decision for green I would consider black too. Who should I trust with good quality stock?
Thanks

Thanks I heard of blowers but they are priced very close to list. For 300 quid feel like putting my name on a list unless I'm being naive.
Either their pricing or really is low stock in demand
I saw some at watch finder co, what are they like? Do they sell euro stock or below mint and band aid refurb them?
That is what I'm trying to avoid, a bashed up piece prepped and cape cod-d for sale. Bought low and sold high.

Oddly enough, that one doesn't come up if you do a new search on Chrono24 for a 116610LV, new, Europe. There seem to be loads of them around at the £5k mark though, so a useful saving to be had over the likes of Blowers. You do have to do your research when buying from the continent though via Chrono24, as there is no safety net if a purchase goes bad. Plus, it always costs you a bit more than the GBP price shown on the adverts. Chrono24 seem to translate the price in Euros using the interbank rate, which of course you won't get when ordering EUR from your own bank. There are ways to get a better rate than your bank will give you, but they involve a bit of faffing around.
That's because it's not new – it's pre-owned as from January this year.
If it was 0 (unworn) it'd have shown up with the filtering you applied.
Cheapest brand new showing – https://www.chrono24.com/en/rolex/submariner-ref-1...

Ah. For the sake of a couple of hundred quid, I'd probably buy new and unworn. Never been on anyones wrist, and papers in your own name - worth it if it's a keeper, perhaps. If it was 0 (unworn) it'd have shown up with the filtering you applied.
I bought a green Submariner from a dealer last year. I was a little apprehensive when I bought it as it's a bit of a bold choice over the standard black. 18 months later and it hasn't been off my wrist since. Absolutely love it and a keeper for sure. Sometimes it pays to be a bit left of centre.

Pros and cons of buying a green submariner:
Pros: it's a submariner
Cons: it's green
IMHO
I put a deposit down on a new one today. Lovely watch. The SD LN is the defacto steel sports rolex to buy. I can see why but i find the green really stands out and has a unique character to itPros: it's a submariner
Cons: it's green
IMHO

It has different personalities in different lights.
Looks great in use
I think it has some extra on the black
Rarely looks as intense as the brochure pictures make out
Like the hulk vs the older kermit - the face changes colour in that light and more of a rolex green
