Stupid ways of trying to show off

It was on the radio a couple of weeks back. A GF had written in to say her boyfriend kept the windows closed when hot to show he had air conditioning - even though he hadn't. I can't personally see why he would want to suffer, but I am sure someone can tell me. And I am sure the brethren can also recount other stories of the same ilk. I look forward to them.
Putting different badges on car to make it seem like a better spec model.
The whole arse gravy think about undersized tyres and stupid camber.
Tinting rear lights black
Tinting windows
Traffic light Grand Prix
Blue led sidelights
The list is endless as there is a never ending procession of t**ts in this country willing to astound us with their stupidity.
Edit... I did see one car with a make shift roll cage made out of white plastic pipe. The type used under the kitchen sink. That one was certainly impressive.

Well, lookalikes, maybe. A well-done replica is pretty impressive. If you look under a Cobra's bonnet and see fibreglas furr and a Pinto, fair enough. Aluminium panelling and a big V8, it's not as much concern whether it's real or not.Beaufords and their "I can't believe it's not the thirties" ilk are all horrible, though.
Inappropriate badges is a particular pet peeve of mine, particularly M badges on base spec 1 and 3 series! 
On the subject of this and replicas, people who try to create a convincing replica of an Audi RS4 or Golf R for example using the correct body panels and wheels but basing their creation on a diesel!
