Hi Guys,
I've entered the Cerb world and put a deposit on a '96 Cerbera in Rosso Pearl, 18" Spiders and 33k on the clock and cant wait to pick it up at the end of the month!

All it needs to get it to my complete liking is an alloy handbrake lever to match the gear knob.

Where can I get one of these and is it easy enough to fit. Cheers

Whoops not sure I've done the pic upload right but here it is on the ramps, its having a new clutch and slave cylinder this week so thats one less thing to worry about!
Whilst it is up there with the propshaft and exhausts off I took the opportunity to give the chassis a good inspection and it is spot on...bit of surface rust but nothing to worry about.

Its got an uprated ally rad and silicone and stainless coolant pipes, Bilstein shox, good Toyo tyres 18" spiders so again other things off the list.

Getting excited now to get it home!

Welcome to the world of early Cerb ownership, I too have a 96, silver chassis version with very little rust. Get the little bits sorted and she'll be good for years

Nice! Those spiders look far too clean hope you can get them covered in brake dust soon, have you gone for the uprated Raceproved slave cylinder? and whose clutch plate are you fitting the AP or the new Racing Green/Helix Autosport replacement?

Don't know which slave cylinder is going in as the job was started before I even saw the vehicle but its got an impeccable service history, new clutch and all the upgrades I would have fitted anyway.

It's got the standard exhaust and still catted. I'll see how it goes and sounds and decide on the decatt and sports pipes later.

I'm well pleased with it and looking forward to getting it home for a blast!

Agree with Vee8ight the Silver one's do seem to last rather well, mine was 97' & was relatively unscathed.

Now don't do what we have all done when waiting to get your hands on "Your" Cerb ! Restless night & come the next day too knackered to have a whole heap of fun on the "Scary" bonding period lol...have a good one wink

Hi again Dave,

Noticed this thread after I'd commented on your 'Questions' one.

When I originally looked I REALLY wanted a Rosso Pearl one but there weren't any good ones around at my time.
Also funny that you're gettin' the clutch done coz this was one thing that I insisted on in the deal with the garage when I bought mine. (I also insisted on a sport exhaust to be supplied - it was in the boot when I picked her up and I didn't get around to fit it for four years hehe)

Don't think there's any need to panic which slave it is as my replaced one lasted 40K !

Enjoy it mate. You've bought her at exactly the right time drivingcloud9
