A friend of mine has lost her keys to a 09 Focus with no spare and the car is locked. She has had it towed to the Ford dealer by Green Flag. How much is she likely to get charged for supplying and fitting new door locks and ignition barrel etc on Monday when they open?

I'd hazard a guess around 350 to 400 pounds, need to get the car open, replace locks, programme in new keys etc. a friends car was a similar amount when this happened.

Cant they just use the chassis number in the windscreen to find the key number on records and get new keys cut, then just redo the immobiliser. Must be cheaper than changing locks in labour alone.
