Today: Thruxton experience!

Today I was driven round Thruxton by Tiff Needell in an E92 M3. 3 flying laps with lots of gratuitous arse out action through the twisty bits and 145mph top whack on the back straight! Amazing experience that was bought for me for my 40th last year. Very friendly chap and wow what a great driver.
I also went for a hot lap driven in the new Octavian estate VRS. That was bloody amazing too! 120 on the straight, 3-up. Wish I could afford one of those as our family car!
Suffice to say one of the most memorable days I have had in a long while.

I've not been round with Tiff personally, but I did see him flying round when I was there doing a driving experience last month and it looked incredible. I was sorely tempted to try it on the day as they do offer it to you when you're doing a driving experience...I also went for a hot lap driven in the new Octavian estate VRS. I can heartily recommend doing one of their driving experiences, the instructors too are fantastic, but you will have to let Tiff pass you ;-)
