hi, i orderd some new tyres for the tuscan last week, going off the manual which states they are: 245/40 zr18 pick the tyres up tomorrow and just noticed that my car actualy has 245/35zr18 on it!
Will the '40' tyres still fit, i dont want it to look like a 50's hot rod?

They will still fit. Just the profile will be higher. Don't know if it will make a difference to the speedo though.

Shouldn't be any problem. Have a look at www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=141711&f=5&h=0

I'd keep 'em. You might get a 3% misreading on the speedo at worst, but the ride should be much more compliant. If you're worried... I'll potentially swap you! Next time I have mine changed, I'll be going up from 35 -> 40, and suffering any slight speedo issues.
