Off to France in late July and August and have bought one of these to allow me try and beat the worst queues at the peages. Has anyone tried one in a T350 and if so where abouts on the screen did you fix it and did it work faultlessly? I have visions of barriers failing to rise - especially on the ones you can attack at 30kph!

They say stick it behind the rear view mirror. I know my R32 is a bit taller...but it worked like a dream for us. I guess the trick is to mosey up kind of slow like the first time!!

Thanks Steve. Did you have yours to the right of the mirror (i.e. on the passenger side of a left hand drive car - which would seem logical)?

I'm really after someone who's tried it in a T350 though?

Marginally to the passenger side. It's a tried & tested technology, I'm sure you'll be fine. There's all manner of low slung exotica on the peages 24/7...I've never seen a problem. (and from the other perspective massively tall trucks!)

I have one in my Chimaera and have used it extensively over the last three years, I'd not tour France now without it as it instantly renders the hassle of toll booths in a low RHD car a thing of the past.

What I found was it doesn't always register with the sensor if you mount it in the screen as advertised, this is probably due to a TVR being quite low compared to a regular car, so I suspect you'll have the same problem in your T350.

I am normally driving with the roof off so just hold the transponder above my head as I approach the barrier which works well, obviously you'll need to roll your window down to do something similar in the T350.

Hardly a big problem, enjoy your trip driving

We have one in the Tamora, stuck to the screen behind the rear view mirror on the passenger side. Doesn't obstruct any vision and works perfectly.

This is what I feared. I was hoping I wouldn't have to wave it about (!) and I suppose it's no big deal but I was hoping for a clean drive through every time!

I have a T350 and the Tag works fine I have it behind the mirror see photo, the first time you go to the peage you hope it works but they do you will hear it bleep then the barrier goes up some go up before you get to them some are slower so beware, had mine for years and it works in all TVRs saves so much time

I agree with Billy. Been using this for years at Le Mans.

I had one for years in the T350, had it by the drivers side just by the side of the RVM, a couple of times it didn't worked and I unclipped it and waved it out the window and that did the trick.

I've just driven back from Spain and noticed that they have changed a lot of the peages to allow 30kph, didn't have a problem with any of them and sailed through, great thing to have and really don't understand why every French car doesn't have them?

I use my French registered bip n go on my French car and take it off and place on my TVR Sagaris when I head to Le Mans or france (home in SW) and it works very well

I placed mine level with the rear view mirror on the right (drivers side) and works all the time
