Chim running bad after thunder in the tunnels today

Got the follow faults on rover gauge 
Started running really rough and wouldn't tickover so moved the throttle pot to get it home, absolutely reaks of unburnt fuel so much the my eyes burnt when sat in traffic.
FYI all leads and plugs inc extenders are new, vacuum advance unit tight, vacuum pipe elbow split but pipe is in tight and was broken before the issue.
Ignition amp looks old and temp sensor looks new but not 100% it is but will just change that anyway as it's just a few quid.
Fuel pump has been a little noisier on priming the last few days, both lambdas were fine on rover gauge 2weeks ago. I'm not sure but I suspect that they are not able to trim as much as needed so showing fault?
AFM was also find 2 weeks ago.
