Road trip advice Andermatt to Tirano

Hello, anyone got any thoughts / experience on driving from Andermatt to Tirano, looking at route options and it appears to be a choice of two.
Andermatt to tirano
Via chur/st moritz/ la rosso, brusio viaduct.
Or
Andermatt to tirano/sondrio
Via Andeer / Splugen / chiavenna
Any thoughts on the better route would be appreciated.
Traveling in July, in a couple of weeks anyway :-)

Identify the passes and all will fall into place. From andermatt, you can do the furka, grimsel and susten very easily, shelving I such talked about. But I've just done the nufenen for the first time, but part of that was improved by being buzzed by several quality machines on the way up! Stelvio not too far away either, but in any case, get these and the roads in between are academic. Enjoy! ,
