Hi folks,

An annoying rattle has developed in my dash, around where the Sat Nav is. It occurs irrespective of it being deployed or not. Does anyone know how to cure this? I'm prepared to spend a sunny afternoon with a tool kit smile

Many Thanks!

Kris

Here's a link to a similar question I asked a while ago. Mine has since reverted to being random rattles - sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Personally I think the whole concept was flawed from the outset, having moving parts on one of the main areas likely to annoy a driver with rattles I mean.

My car was in several times during warranty for this, and I had thought they'd fixed it permanently but it crept back frown

Best of luck with it!

Nuke it from orbit.

Then go and buy a DB9. Obviously the rattle will still be there, but you'll look and go a whole lot better yes

Kris me old cupcake....sounds like a loose screw to me.

Kris, if you manage to sort it will you update the thread with what you did or perhaps pm me please? One day I'll run out of excuses not to take my P&J dashboard to bits and every bit of advice will be welcome!

Right - done! I've added to Lewis' guide with pictures and posted up in a seperate thread. Not to tough to do, thankfully! Thanks to Lewis for the write-up, Steve for finding it and Rob for offering to help me dismantle biggrin
