Italian alternative to NZ Sauvignon Blanc?
Discussion
Is there one? I'm more of a red wine drinker so I'm not too clued up on my whites and I'm not too sure what to go for. There's a good range of Italian wines here at reasonable prices but new world stuff seems very expensive and fairly limited in choice too, so I'm looking for something which someone who normally drinks Orca Bay in England would enjoy.
French is OK too, although not as plentiful as Italian, my main concern is I want something similar in character and don't want to end up with a really oaky wine.
