Mot station put wrong milage down

Mot'd my car yesterday. The new mot Cert shows the 5 years of recorded milage on the front.

2011 95263
2012 95261

FFs it now looks like I've clocked my car and done 2 less miles in a full year.

I had a similar thing a few weeks after I bought a car. Had to get proof of the mistake from the garage and go to a VOSA yard to get the records changed.

The garage that did it are supposed to be ringing me back. But they insisted yesterday that what's done is done.

I did they say it can't be changed.

It can within 24 hours. My MOT station did the same thing with my bike - they took the km reading instead of miles, looked like I'd done about 30k in a year, muppets. Thankfully they could change it.

Failing this, you could make an appointment with a local DVLA inspection centre (google) and they will rectify it for you.

Good to know but I think 2011 is a lt more hours than 24

They got the reg wrong on mine one year. I didn't spot it but the DVLA obivously did because they re-issued it with the correct reg. Not sure if that's relevant but it shows that it can be changed.

How long have you had the car? It's clearly an error - do you have any other servicing documentation with the car?

Im hopng it will help but not sure it will. All documentation in a fire proof safe at my fathers I'll get it later today.
