warning buzzer

I have tried to increase the volume of the warning buzzer (Its now set at 9) but it's still very quiet and can't be heard above the engine noise.

Is this normal or am I missing something, the car is a 2002 Tuscan S on loan from the factory.

The buzzer is not very loud on my car and it is set on level 9 so it`s another classic "they all do that sir"
by the looks of things

Funny but I recall my buzzer being louder when I first got the car - it may be worth having a look at the buzzer itself on the pod boards, it may have some tape over it or some other high tech mod to quieten it down a bit
