looking for a 308 GTB

One of my mate's dad had a 308 back in the 80s on a private plate 890 FS (was originally an old v reg)
He'd be interested in what happened to the car or even thinink of getting it back in the family?
As he is not a PH member I browse the question for him-

The plate could easily be separated from the car by now. Do you have the VIN ?

Thanks guys - i will ask him to check with his dad whther there are any copies of documents so he can trace the VIN and then he may be able to check - PH always helpful

It is chassis number 23815 but I have nothing recent on it.
